In particular, Tra Vinh is considered a potential area with advantages of land and abundant labor that is interesting to Japanese businesses.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that Tra Vinh had attracted investors over the past time with the potential and advantages available. Currently, the province has 37 FDI enterprises, with a total investment capital of over 3.4 billion USD. Including 01 Japanese enterprises (Yazaki EDS VN Co., Ltd.) with an investment capital of over 48 million USD. Since the beginning of 2021 until now, Tra Vinh province has trained and sent 726 workers to work and study abroad for a limited time, of which 657 workers came to work in Japan. Also, Tra Vinh province invests heavily in developing industrial parks, transport infrastructure, electricity, and water; pays attention to implementing human resources training to meet the labor recruitment needs of enterprises.

At the same time, Mr. Nguyen Quynh Thien emphasized: Tra Vinh always wants to expand the market and approach Japanese investors in various fields, hoping that JETRO will be a bridge calling for Japanese businesses to study and invest in the province shortly.
